Who we are

Better Bags Myanmar is a backpack manufacturer based in Yangon, Myanmar. We decide how the personal data described in this policy is handled.

Information you give us

When you submit the quotation form, we collect the name, company, email address, phone number, country and message you enter, together with any files you attach.

We use this only to answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.

Information collected automatically

When you view a page, our servers and our analytics providers record technical details such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, the site that referred you, your browser and device type, your language, and the country and city your network address resolves to.

Your network address is never stored in readable form. It is turned into an irreversible fingerprint using a secret that changes every day, which means the same visitor cannot be recognised from one day to the next.

Cookies and similar technologies

Two cookies are strictly necessary and are always set: one remembers the language you chose, and one records the country your network address resolves to, so we know which scripts to load.

Analytics cookies from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are set only after you accept them. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, nothing is set until you make that choice, and you can change it at any time.

Your choice itself is stored in your browser rather than in a cookie.

Why we are allowed to use it

We handle enquiry details because you asked us to respond to you, and because we have a legitimate interest in running and improving a business website.

We rely on your consent for analytics cookies wherever the law requires it. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers, each handling data only on our instructions. Vercel hosts the site, Cloudflare provides the domain, bot protection and file storage, Resend delivers our email, Cal.com schedules virtual factory tours, and Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity provide website analytics.

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertising networks.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails and attachments are kept for as long as we are in contact with you about the project. Uploaded files are deleted from our storage automatically within seven days.

Analytics records are deleted after 180 days. Our providers apply their own retention periods to the data they hold.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Write to us and we will respond.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

If we make a material change, we update the date at the top of this page and ask for your cookie choice again.
